Down With The Sickness

On Tuesday, beyond my last email, and among highlights, we found a potentially solid person, who apparently hasn't even heard of the church or the Book of Mormon before. On that same street we found a couple former or less-active members. Later that night one of our investigators gave us some chocolate cake that, as she termed it (so far as I remember accurately), "has got to be like OD chocolate or something". It was pretty strong. Later that night, among eating the cake, I made the No Bake Cheesecake that my grandma sent me for Christmas. It was pretty good. On Wednesday I seemed to not be able to find my pin name tag, so I ordered a new one. Just yesterday I found that it fell off at our recent-convert's house. Also that day, my wrist seemed to hurt quite a bit. I thought it was bursitis, so I kept it wrapped in an ace bandage for a few days. Eventually, I tried messing around with it and found that it was just something being out of place. So, now that problems fixed.

On Thursday, I made, with banana pudding, vanilla wafers, and whipped cream, a banana cream pudding that was quite good. That day I also began feeling ill. On Friday and Saturday I stayed in and rested. My peak fever was 100.8. Friday was the worst of it generally, but between Saturday and Sunday my throat was most severely sore. That was alleviated by some cold medication that my ward mission leader gave me, which really helped. Anyway, on Saturday my ward mission leader gave us lots of stuff, including food. On Sunday our ward, as per the Fast Sunday food donation thing, provided us with an abundance of food. Throughout the week, in my studies, I read Our Search For Happiness, which is an excellent book, and began making my way through True To The Faith.

Today, our emailing was somewhat split-up and complicated, due to server issues with the library system. During all that we went to eat at subway, only to find that the one near us has gone out of business. Anyway, its been an interesting week. I look forward to the coming week, and hope not to be ill-afflicted. Also, from the relatively huge amounts of snow we were previously affected by, our temperatures have really come up. Yesterday we had a huge rain storm with temperatures in the 60s.

I love you all and hope for the best. Have a wonderful week!
