Gospel Doctrine!

As I mentioned last week, we spent Halloween with some elders in our district. On Tuesday, we had a really good lesson with one of our recent converts and our ward mission leader. On Wednesday, Elder Wood packed for transfers and on Thursday we had transfers. My new companion, Elder Herron is awesome. He and I seem to get along really well so far. He is from Duchesne, UT. Outside of his mission, he is planning to get a degree in mechanical engineering. Anyway, that night, we had a lesson with one of our recent converts on mormon.org, in which I found out, much to my surprise, that Brandon Flowers (from The Killers) has had a profile and video made for the website. On Friday, we went over to the same persons house and helped him with a large painting project for his house. That night, we stopped by the church and tried to help with an endeavor to fix computer problems on the clerk's office computer. On Saturday we were pretty busy between weekly planning, deep cleaning, and service projects. On Sunday we taught the Gospel Doctrine class (as I have before) utilizing the 5th chapter of Preach My Gospel, on the Book of Mormon. It went quite well. In general, this has been another good week!
