Double Thanksgiving!

Last Monday, I celebrated my birthday by sharing Wal-Mart Carrot Cake with the Currituck Elders. That night we had two family home evenings. On Tuesday morning, we helped one of our recent converts with his talk for Sunday. During lunch, I made some home-made carbonation-free root beer (as I don't drink carbonation). It actually tasts quite good. Later that day, we had a really good lesson with one of our long-time investigators. On Wednesday, we helped out one of our recent converts with some work on his balcony roof. Most of the rest of that day was spent going up to Virginia and getting our cars state inspection done. That night, we had dinner with an awesome member. Me and the husband had a good talk about linux. On Thursday, we had two thanksgiving meals booked. The First one was at the duely called White House. Both meals were filling and good. On Friday, we did some service for a less-active, part-member family. We helped with work on a cememted driveway extension, then we helped haul dirt. That night we made programs for a baptismal service of someone in our ward and attended the service. It was good. On Saturday, we had a really good lesson with the same investigator couple as on Tuesday. We are finally starting to help them resolve some of their concerns that have long weighed on them. Later that day, unfortunately, one of our solid investigators, who has MS, dropped us. He refused to tell us his concern, but it seemed obvious that he had one. That night we went to a place called Captain-D's for dinner with a less-active couple. On Sunday there were some really good talks in church. Two of which were recent converts. Later that day, we visited a few less-active families. This has been a fairly good week overall. I am doing well. I hope you are. Have a wonderful holiday season!
