Another Talk

Last Monday we spent the day with the Currituck Elders. We then dropped them off at their dinner appointment and headed to ours. On Tuesday, we had lunch at Chick-Fil-A. After getting our food, someone who looked like a manager gave us free chicken biscuits. It was pretty nice. We then spent the day doing a massive declutter of our apartment, as our mission president's wife requested that we all do such. On Wednesday night, we did a little singing at a ward choir practice. We shall see if we actually decide join for the performance. On Thursday, we had a district meeting, which was quite good. For lunch we all went to IHOP ini Elizabeth City. On Friday I got a package from my grandma for my birthday. On Saturday, during lunch, me and my companion played a few games of chess, as he loves that game. We then contacted a referral from one of our recent converts, that turned out to be solid. He has multiple sclurosis, but he is very optimistic about it. Later that night, at a dinner with a member, we fixed their piano and lamp, which were both broken. On Sunday, I gave a talk in sacrament meeting on the subject of 'How Parents And Leaders Can Prepare The Youth To Serve Missions.' It went quite well. Later that night, we did a bunch of hometeaching with a member. This email is brief, but I am limited on time. I am doing well! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving week!
