Transferred, But Not Far
Last Monday, everyone in the mission took an online stress test. Apparently i'm a stressful person. That day, we also watched the new, revised version of Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration. Its very different, but its a very good movie. On Tuesday, I picked up some nice cookbooks, as they were only fifty cents a piece. On Wednesday, we found an opportunity to help one of our investigators with computer problems. We helped with figuring out issues with an Acer laptop he was working on for someone else. That night, we were able to help one of our members move some things around in some storage units at the Outer Banks. On Thursday, we had interviews with our mission president. Those went really well. After that we got our cars oil changed and did some shopping at Wal-Mart. Later that night we made some homemade ice cream in an ice cream maker my companion got. On Friday we and a good Zone Meeting, attended by our mission president. After that, we went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch. When we got back to our area, we went on exchanges with the Elizabeth City missionaries, which lasted about 3 hours. During that we had some good finding experiences. After the exchange, we went to Elizabeth City, switched back, and had dinner at a place called Quality Seafood. On Saturday, we did this online course that explains how we can utilize family history in our proselyting efforts. That night, us and a couple of our investigators went to a baptism in Elizabeth City (a very good experience). On Sunday we had the same two investigators at church. It was good. That night we got transfer calls. I am going to Elizabeth City, which is a neighboring area in the same district. My Mission President said he is rarely inspired to transfer someone so close by. I will be step-training Elder Mason. This will be the first time on my mission that I am something other than Junior Companion. I am excited. I hope you all have a wonderful week!
