Hops, Skips, And Jumps

Last Tuesday, I spent a good bit of time helping Elder Narramore feel more confidant in taking-over Currituck. That same day, he got a package with perishable deserts. Those were good. We then put the dry ice in water and let it dissolve and form lots of fog. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, I talked to several people and said some temporary goodbyes, as I will be coming back at some point after my mission. On Wednesday I packed all my stuff. That night, we went to the Elizabeth City elders apartment and stayed the night. Thursday morning, Elder Narramore headed off with a member to pick up his new companion. Me and the Elizabeth City elders did some service for some members. The members then took one of the elders to transfers and me and my new companion, Elder Mason, picked up a few things from Wal-Mart. After that, us and the new companionship for Currituck met and had luch at a place called Andy's. I than did some unpacking. On Friday, I spent quite a bit of time looking through the area book and familiarizing myself, in part, with the people. We then took another mission-related survey at the library. On Saturday, we spent most of the day serving a member and recent convert. On Sunday, we had a good church meeting. I became more acquainted with the members, we had a very productive Ward Councel meeting, and I was assigned a talk for next Sunday. After church we took the sacrament to a member. Later that night we were walking from the car and a guy on a bike stopped and invited us to come to his house. We also got a referral from a member we visited with. I see some very good things happening in this area. I hope you are all doing well. Have a great week!
