Beyond The End Of The World
On Tuesday, after stopping by someone, I found a tick crawling on my skin. I swiftly destroyed it, but that's the closest I have ever come to ticks. On Wednesday, after teaching an investigator named Mike, we set him for baptism on the 18th of June. Hopefully that comes through. Prayers are always welcomed. On the way home from that I found out that I am going to a week long leadership training (like the one my companion previously went to) this coming Tuesday through Friday. Thats all good, but we did have difficulty situating rides. Hopefully everything should work out though. On Thursday we did some finding in one of the farther reaches of our area at a Vietnamese village. We had no immediate success, but we'll probably do more work out there. At least we have a single Vietnamese Book of Mormon to hopefully give to someone receptive sometime. Also, that day, I made the decision to commence a diet, that is well needed. So far it is being quite successful. Between that and our recent increase of activity (between tracting and biking), I have seen some good profit. On Friday, at an appointment with a member, we played a quick, but intense game of Foosball. We won the first game, then they the second. For my first or second time ever playing it, I did better than I would have expected. On Saturday, apparently, the world was supposed to end. Apparently we are all still here (or at least I am; I don't know about all of you). Anyway, next up (as far as the crazy predictions I've heard): December, 2012. That same day, me and my companion did some biking (probably 30 minutes there, then 30 minutes back; 8-10 miles total). It was good. We need to do more biking. On Sunday we had a Stake General Priesthood Meeting. It was quite good. This week in general has been pretty good. I hope this coming week is too, though it should be with the training meeting I am going to. Anyway, have a wonderful week!
