Easter!!!
On Tuesday, due to the long-time annoyance, we finally got mouse poison to deal with the issue in the trailer. It seems to be, thus far, a very profitable endeavor. Later that day, though an appointment fell through, we had a good opportunity to participate in a powerful priesthood blessing opportunity. On Wednesday we used the DVD I just got on Monday, and watched Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration with one of our investigators. It went very well. Later that day we found a snapping turtle crossing a road. That night we went on exchanges with the Elizabeth City elders. During that time, as my temporary companion, Elder Beckman, had medical issues with his knee, we didn't do a whole lot of work. I did get to try his muscle stimulator though. It was interesting. Also, during the time I was with him, I got some good cleaning done in our trailer. Later on Thursday I got a long awaited scale shipped to me. That will be quite useful. That night we found a new investigator, with an atheist view, who is definitely interested in learning about the gospel. On Friday we had an excellent district meeting down in Nags Head, then inspected the sisters car. On the way home our Branch President took us to the Nags Head Fishing Pier restaurant for lunch, where we had softshell crab sandwiches (interesting, but very good). On the way home I took a tech call for an investigator in Elizabeth City, who is having internet connection issues. Later that day we had a powerful lesson with one of our investigators, which resulted in two referrals. That was awesome. On Saturday, I got the idea to tape up a pass-along card take-one holder to our front door. Hopefully that is profitable. This week has been pretty good. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!
