Later last Tuesday night, we had an excellent lesson with one of our progressing investigators. She seems to be getting very close to committing to a baptismal date. On Wednesday, my companion had the onset of some kind of virus. He's recovered by now. Later that night I tried something he taught me to make, called orchada (rice milk, sugar, and cinnamon). It was very good. On Thursday, just before transfers, our district leader came by and handed over everything my companion needs to be the new district leader. Later that day we went to Elizabeth City to get our oil changed. On Saturday we had a good meeting with our zone leaders, then went to help a recent convert/investigator couple move in from the Outer Banks. They are awesome. Yesterday we had an excellent Branch Conference, focused on strengthening families. It was very enjoyable. Among other mentions yesterday, we were given Lobster Ravioli, and some other kind of pasta, and we were also invited to join in with a jail ministry. Even though I have less to say this week, it has been fairly good.
I hope all goes well for all of you this week. Seek the Lord and you will find peace, comfort, and happiness. Bye!

Mmmm....I love horchata, but I've never known exactly how to make it even though I knew it was a rice drink with cinnamon.
