Ill-Afflicted

On Monday I made pizza loaves, as I made mention of last week. They were very good. On Tuesday we met a former investigator that seems sincerely interested. We should hopefully be able to start teaching him soon. After seeing him, my companion disassembled his bike in the parking lot of a hardware store and we got some parts that he needed to repair it. After that we rushed to a less-actives house who called, sounding worried, and had us give a blessing to their child who was running a very high fever. After the fact we heard that the fever broke 10 minutes after we left. Thats another one of those neat experiences with the priesthood. On Wednesday we spent a half-hour on mormon.org at the library, as our mission president wants us to start doing every week. Speaking of which, I have a direct link to my profile for all of you to take a look at (my mormon.org profile).

Friday morning, we went for a good jog. Later that morning we headed to district meeting. On the way there, we stopped by a bike shop for my companion to get the last stuff he needed to fix his bike. The meeting was excellent. After that we went to Dragon Buffet again, and yet again our food was paid for by a member of our branch that works there. That was pretty filling. Later that night, at a dinner appointment, I got something notarized by a member of our branch that does free notary. On Saturday I started feeling afflicted by a cold. Currently it feels like its starting to go away. It hasn't been pleasant though. On Sunday we had a goodly amount of people at church (both investigators and less-actives). It was good. We also got more food from branch-members. Later that night we had a good meal at one of our investigators houses, named Rose. It was a pork roast, with potatoes, biscuits and other things. I am doing well in general and hope the best for all of you. Have a great week!
