Charity... Get Some!

So, after last p-day's extravaganza I still managed to get done all that I had to do. But it was an intense work-out. I probably needed it, especially considering how thoroughly well I get fed here. On Tuesday, after some car-work, we took an online survay that we were directed to for an upcoming apostalic visit. I anxiously await that. It will be good.

On Tuesday night I went on exchanges with my district leader, Elder Frampton. That went pretty well. However, the unexchange was a little less smooth. My companion forgot to find a ride, so he ended up driving all the way to the district leaders apartment. That really wasn't good for our already suffering mileage allotment. Because of that we just stayed overnight for district meeting. I gave a training on charity. I found that a truly inspired topic. As I have studied and truly striven to apply my training, I have grown significantly. My challenge to all of you is to pray fervently to be filled with the spiritual gift and christlike attribute of charity. It will make a big difference in your life. Suddenly, your view of others becomes less judgemental and you start to see them as Heavenly Father sees them. You start to see them for who they have the potential to become. Anyway, after that meeting, we had district lunch at Five Guys and headed home.

Among teaching and finding experiences this week, we watched Finding Faith In Christ with a paralytic. We had another awesome lesson with one of our more recent investigators, Rabia, and her family. And I had a complete dejavoo experience, as I have had so much on my mission. This time it was talking to a kid on the street. I recall a dream like it months ago. Its crazy how that happens. One of our investigators recently postponed investigating until her member husband starts showing how importand the gospel and the Book of Mormon is to him. It was a rude awakening for him. Hopefully all goes well with that. Other events of the week include a baptism of someone in our wards child, a lesson with a super intellectual member of 9 years who had delved extremely deep into the doctrine, and more biking (which is really a good thing in multiple ways, including health).
