that night we went to an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for someone in the
ward. On Wednesday, we went on exchanges with the elders in Currituck.
We had quite a few appointments that day, which all went pretty well.
Later that day we went to choir practice at the church. That night, me
and the other elder used aluminum foil and duct tape to fix our cars
remote, which wasn't working that well. We also used his peddle wrench
to try getting my bike peddles off. It was very difficult to get the
first one off. We never could get the other one off. On Thursday, we
had a District Meeting down at the Outer Banks. After that we had
lunch at a place called The Kill Devil Grill. Later that night we
started teaching a really cool family. The wife is a less-active
member and the husband should be baptized in not too long. The lesson
went quite well. On Friday we went to Golden Corral with a member that
invited a less-active member along. That went well. On Saturday, we
went to one of our investigators houses and he surprised us with
Little Caesars pizza. We have had that quite a bit recently. Later
that day, we went to our Bishops house and I fixed a slow-down they
had on their computer, caused by third-party PDF software. On Sunday,
we had something neat happen. One of our investigators who is ready
for baptism, but whose mom wouldn't let him be baptized, has finally
gotten permission for baptism. So, we will soon have a baptism (likely
March 3rd or so). This week has been pretty good. We have had some
good success and a few miracles. I am really going to miss my mission!
Oh well... I'll just have to be a really awesome member missionary
when I get home.
