Choir

Last Monday, I watched The Testaments. That is a wonderful movie to get me thinking about Christ, though its more about His resurrection than birth. On Tuesday, I helped one of our recent converts figure out how to use his GPS. That same day, we also began teaching one of the members friends. He is well on his way to baptism. That night we went out with a member and delivered cookies to some of the less-active members. On Wednesday, we joined in choir practice. On Thursday we gave a blessing to a members kid who injured their foot and will need minor surgery. After that we tried to contact a less-active, but found that they moved. However we set-up an appointment for the next day. Later that day, we donated a bunch of extra bedding and clothes from our apartment to a local thrift store. We then took one of our missionary-minded members out with us to some appointments. After that we had a dinner appointment that was followed by some good service, moving things around for them in their basement. On Friday, after our weekly planning session, we had a really good lesson with the family we found on Thursday. We answered a lot of really good questions and taught the restoration. It went quite well. On Saturday, I got two packages from home, on from my family and one from my grandparents. On Sunday, in church, we performed a choir piece called 'When The Son Of God Was Born', by Sally DeFord. That went very well. During Sunday School, our bishopric trained the members on how to use the new lds.org website. This week in general has been quite excellent. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! Remember to focus on Christ!
