Another Six Weeks!
Last Monday, I gave myself a haircut. On Tuesday, we started eliminating a waterbug infestation that came about in our car. I think we got rid of all of them. That night, I helped one of our members connect their PS3 console up with wireless internet access. On Wednesday, we helped a recent convert decorate for Christmas. Later that day, we had a really good lesson with a new investigator. On Thursday, we had our apartment inspected. On Friday, we had a really good Zone Meeting. Among activities they incorporated into that, they had us put on blindfolds and they demonstrated following the spirit (as symbolized by a faint bell ringing). We then had lunch with our district, the Zone Leaders, and a couple other missionaries at Mamasita's, a really good mexican restraunt next to our church. After that we raked leaves for a less-active member, then my companion got his hair cut by our Ward Mission Leader, who is a barbor. On Saturday, I helped a member get their laptop and router back in operation. Later that day we helped another member decorate cookies for that evening. We made some elder and sister missionary looking cookies. They looked pretty cool. That night our stake put on their Christmas night of music, called 'A Carol For My King'. It was really good. I have always enjoyed those. On Sunday, we began teaching a teenager that is really good friends with one of the youth. He is really interested, has already attended church a few times, and he even defends our church. Later that night I found out that me and Elder Herron are staying in Elizabeth City another transfer. We have had a lot of really good things happen this week. I am excited! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season!
