On Wednesday we did a bunch of finding. Among successes, we found someone we will be teaching this coming week. Later that night, I got my companion to try Eggnog for the first time in his life. He didn't like it so much, but I thought it was way good. We also taught another member about mormon.org. Among things I uploaded a picture. Now I only need for their moderation, so it can become public (unless it already has). On Thursday we got a couple calls that proverbially threw a monkey wrench in our planned day. Among things we went and gave an investigator a blessing, and we had to go pick up another elder in our district, since his companion was waiting in his last area for a baptism. So, we took on Elder Eborn for a couple days. Also that day, I got a great package from my family. On Friday, after weekly planning and setting up tables and chairs at our branch building, I picked up my other package from home (a fiber optic Christmas tree). Later that night I set it up.
On Saturday we got delayed going to an appointment by a parade on the road in front of our house. The appointment still worked out though. That night we finally got our first snow of the season. We only got 3/4 to 1 inch of snow, but it was apparently a big thing. Luckily church still happened. On Sunday we went to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional. I thought it was quite excellent. I took a page of notes from it. I hope all of you got the opportunity to watch it.
Anyway, I am doing well. I hope all of you are too. Happy holidays!
