Last week I forgot to mention a few things. First, I finally gave myself another haircut. It was long overdue. I feel so much better having shorter hair. Next, we tracted into Olympic silver-metalist David Lee Kelly. He said the missionaries in Utah helped him win, but he wasn't interested in the church. Last, at church I talked with a kid that will be leaving on his mission soon. He is going to the England Leeds Mission, where my mission preparation class teacher, Brother Lindley, is now president. It was an interesting conversation.
This week, as short as its been, was pretty good. On Friday we had Zone Meeting. While getting ready to leave, the spanish elder's car battery was dead, so we had to jump-start it. We had to do that today as well. The meeting was pretty good. We actually had a full discussion about how we can improve each of our areas. After the meeting we had district lunch at Asian Fusion Buffet. I got several others to eat baby octopus (I ate 3). It was a wonderful experience. After the meeting we got tons of bagels, courtesy of Elder and Sister England, who get tons of them each week. Those have been pretty good.
Jerome's baptism went better than we expected it to go. Getting everything ready for the baptism was a huge stress, but seemed to fall into place. Yesterday we ended up having to expend 10 extra miles, since we forgot to get the bishops signature at church, but its all good.
This past week we had an interesting experience. We had to park a little bit away from someone we were going to visit. When we parked there, someone standing nearby asked us why we parked there. When we inquired farther, he said "You shouldn't be here.... in the neighborhood!" Even though he seemed like the type to do something to the car, and we had to walk quite some distance, the car remained unharmed. Anyway, that was an interesting situation. Its all good though.
Today, before emailing and such, we went to Chipotle. It was pretty good, but its not something I would do often.
Well, things are going pretty well for me at the moment. So, huzzah until next time.
