Now for the rest of my past week. Because I was unsure, I started going through all my old food. I had quite a lot (and I still seem to be the best off financially here). Anyway, I have nearly finished what I had. I have plenty of weight to lose though. I need to do some serious dieting.
This past week (well, a couple days ago) we set two people for baptism. One of them has been active for a long time, his kids were baptized, and he has a good testimony. When people have asked if he was baptized, he said he was. This past week, Bishop Morris asked if he was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. To that he said no. So, all this time searching for his records and we found that he wasn't even baptized. We set him for July 3. Another one of our investigators also committed (tentatively) to be baptized on July 17. She's been progressing pretty well, but she is finally accepting a date for baptism. Two transfers with a single baptism and now I can expect to see a couple or so in the coming transfer. I'm excited.
Yesterday we visited our investigator that is in the hospital (Oweeda). She hasn't been doing the greatest. Apparently her problems originated from some nasty bacterial infection in her foot. When we went to the hospital yesterday we were able to give her a priesthood blessing. She said that she felt better after the blessing. I hope things improve and she is able to regain her strength and health. I know that by faith she can be healed.
We have had some good lessons in the past week. One of them is with a recent convert's boyfriend. The lesson was pretty powerful and both he and the member felt so. She will soon be moving to Utah (SLC, then eventually Orem), so I hope he continues to progress.
Even though I am on my mission, my computer expertise have come of good use. We have been teaching a less-active for a while. She's pretty cool. Anyway, she has recently been working to put a website up. I have been able to explain things and assist in the process (since she is not the most computer-literate). It has made her life a lot less hectic and helped her to get a little more sleep. Anyway, there are more instances, but my skills and knowledge are of great benefit to others.
This past week we went on exchanges again. Elder McMullin (who graduated Riverton High a year or two before me), came to our area. It was another stretch of my planning skills, but it was good for me. It definitely taught me some things.
On Saturday, we had our final interviews with President Millburn before he heads back to Salt Lake on June 29th. That went pretty well. He is definitely an inspired man. I look forward to getting to know President Perry. I expect great things in the VRM.
Alas, I bid you all farewell until next week. The church is true and the Lord is wonderful. I know that he loves each and every one of you. I thank you all for your love and support.
