So, among stories to tell, we had gotten a Dr. Pepper for our investigator that's in the hospital (since she requested it). However, we left it in the car. In this kind of heat, that's a huge mistake. We ended up having to do a little cleaning. Fun times... fun times!
This week, we have done quite a bit of finding. It has actually come of some success. We have a couple people that seem hopefully solid that we have scheduled some lessons with. I'm excited. We also talked to one of our referrals that had heard a ton of myths about the church and after clearing some things up, we are now going to be teaching her.
Part of that finding included some biking. We went on bikes several times this past week. It went pretty well. Even though it exhausts me, I can see it helping me in staying more fit. I guess its not the most terrible thing ever (as long as we don't have to deal with too steep of hills).
On Saturday I had the opportunity of giving a talk at a youth baptism. I prepared a talk during my personal study, then gave a great talk without really even looking at what I had prepared. I thought it was pretty good.
So, I hope all is well for everyone this week. I am expecting the next week to go pretty well for me. Feel free to send me letters and such. It's been a while since I have received stuff. Maybe its just mission office overhead, because I have sent like 6 or so letters that I have not received replies to. Anyway, feel free to send me stuff.
Anyway, have a great week everybody. I will strive to have one as well. Keep reading the scriptures and praying daily and the Lord will bless you so much.
