A Little Too Old

On Monday, I got a package from my grandma. That was awesome. My companion then baked me a cake, carved 'Happy Birthday' into it, and made other good food. Our inspection that was supposed to happen that day didn't happen, and has currently been delayed (after severally rescheduling) until sometime this coming week. Tuesday morning I gave myself a much needed haircut. Later that day, in our finding, we ran across someone that gladly let us in and even offered to take us to lunch sometime (we'll probably take him up on that so we can teach him). On Wednesday we finally got our newsletters (along with a bunch of other stuff, like an ensign, papers, cards, and a picture CD). On Thursday, we were driving on a road that had lines freshly painted on it. As such, we ended up getting some pain in the wheel-wells. It wore off the tires, but we just need some good rain storms and such to help it ware off.

On Friday we were walking down a street and had a kid refer us, first to his disinterested mom, then to another person who is interested. That was good. Hopefully we will be able to teach him. On Saturday we went with Brother Moster to the baptism of Jacky, who fed us along the ride there. Jacky's baptism went very well, I think. Later that day I picked-up some much needed clear sheet protectors, which are a great help for my study journal. That night we had a great dinner and lesson with the Cartwright family. I barely kept all the food in, but it was good. The awesome lesson was another mormon.org lesson. Speaking of which, I heard that I will have to create my mormon.org profile in a members home, showing them how. So, next time we teach on that, ill have to do such. On Sunday Jacky was confirmed. That was good (a very good thing to have on my birthday). For my birthday, I ate part of a pecan pie. Food Lion's pecan pies aren't as good as Costco's or Wal-Mart's, but it was alright. I put 5 candles in my slice in a way that formed 20 in binary. Later that night we found out that we are no longer tracking any numbers that aren't printed in our planners. We also found out that we have a Zone Meeting, even though we were told that we had nothing. So, we'll have to find a ride to that.

I am doing well. I am so grateful to be as abundantly blessed as I have been. I pray for you all and hope the best. Have a great week.
