Exchanges....

So, this past week I got to be senior companion for a day (since we did my first overnight exchange). That included driving, which I hadn't done in a few months. It was definitely an interesting experience. I did get comfortable with it. It also helped me to get a little better grasp on getting places in Charlottesville. So, it was definitely a good thing.

One of our member families, the Marano's, recently moved out. They are truly awesome. They are very entrepreneurial. They used to own a pizza shop in Provo, UT. Anyway, they invited us to come stay with them sometime (after the mission, of course) in their huge house in NY.

Speaking of food, theres soooo much. I don't see weight-loss being an easy thing out here. We get fed well by members, as well as all the food I seek to keep collecting. Its good though.

My companion has been sick recently. I hope I don't get it, but we'll see. A member here thinks it might be what she had, which is Viral Laryngitis. Its only really affected his nose and throat. Hopefully I avoid getting it.

So, this week has been good. I really have been enjoying the mission. Its been an awesome learning and growing experience for me.
