First Transfer

So, my last week in the MTC was awesome. I made sure everyone in my district had a copy of everyone else's contact info. I also got to say goodbye to my friend, (Elder) Louis Skoubye, on Sunday, a few hours before he left. The MTC was pretty AWESOME, but the food was too good for my own good. I gained around 10 lbs. I hope to lose that in the field. I also got an awesome package from my friends family (Alex Miner). It was tasty and the tie is awesome.

On Monday, 3 sisters in my district left. On Tuesday the rest of us left. After getting up at like 3 AM we headed to the SLC airport. This was my first experience on a plane. It was actually pretty good. Once we got to Richmond, VA, the Mission President and a bunch of Elders took us to the Mission Home. Virginia has TONS of trees. Anyway, the experience so far is pretty good. My new companions name is Elder Jones. Apparently we already have a dinner appointment tonight (deep fried chicken I hear). Although things are currently a bit chaotic, things should be getting better.

My Mission President, President Millburn, and his wife are actually quite awesome. Their daughter, in the MTC, said they were awesome, and they really are.

Life is great for me. I really look forward to the experiences that lie ahead.
